Code of Conduct
Last updated: July 2, 2026
**IEDC CE Vadakara** is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, or technical experience. We expect all participants, speakers, volunteers, and coordinators to adhere to these community standards.
1. Respectful Behaviour & Collaboration
We value collaborative innovation and mutual respect. Speak politely, respect diverse perspectives, and support fellow participants. Any form of discriminatory language, personal insults, or deliberate disruption of workshop sessions will not be tolerated.
2. Anti-Harassment Guidelines
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, sustained disruption of talks, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Any participant asked to stop harassing behavior must comply immediately.
3. Abusive Language and Behavior
The use of profane, vulgar, or abusive language, gestures, or materials is strictly prohibited at all event locations, workshop sessions, and discussion groups. Academic discipline must be maintained at all times.
4. Enforcement and Removal
If a participant violates this Code of Conduct, event organizers reserve the right to take any action they deem appropriate. This includes issuing warnings, denying access to specific sessions, or immediate removal from the event/campus without a refund, and notifying college authorities if necessary.
