Ticketing & Entry Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

1. Ticket Validity & Identification Requirements

A digital ticket (entry pass containing a valid registration token or QR code) must be presented at the check-in desk to gain access to any IEDC event. All participants must carry a valid College Identity Card or official Government-issued ID card matching the registrant name for physical verification.

2. QR Code Scans & Security Verification

Each QR code is unique and authorizes entry for exactly one registrant. Upon scanning at the desk, the system registers the check-in immediately. Copying, tampering with, or sharing QR codes is strictly forbidden. IEDC CE Vadakara is not responsible if duplicate scans result in you being denied entry.

3. Late Entry & Re-entry Policies

While we encourage punctual attendance, late entry is permitted up to 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the event. Re-entry protocols differ by event category:

  • **Single-session workshops**: Re-entry is permitted only with valid wristbands or stamped passes.
  • **Hackathons / Multi-day events**: Registered teams are allowed flexible entry/exit options subject to campus security parameters.

4. Media & Photography Consent

By registering for and attending IEDC CE Vadakara events, you consent to being photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded by our media partners and organizing team. We reserve the right to use these media materials for promotional campaigns, social media posts, annual reports, and website archives.
